I have lived on this lovely Island all my life and upon leaving school I joined the highly respected local firm of Sir Francis Pittis and Son in 1979. I worked in all the different property disciplines they offered at the time including Auctions, Survey, Estate Agency, Property Management and Design.
I opted to train as a Chartered Surveyor and, following 4 years of study at Southampton Solent University whilst working at Pittis, I qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in December 1983. I stayed with Pittis, eventually heading their Survey Department on the Island from 1992 until my departure in 1995.
I left Pittis after 16 happy years and after a brief spell with Daniells Harrison Chartered Surveyors I decided the time was right to set up my own Practice which I run to this day. I am also employed on a part-time basis by eSurv Chartered Surveyors as one of their two Island Surveyors.
My working arrangement combines the best of both worlds. I have the flexibility of being self-employed which allows me to give as much time as is needed to any particular case, with the backup of one of the country’s leading and largest firms of Chartered Surveyors to keep me abreast of changes in property legislation, current mortgage lender guidance etc. I believe this gives my clients an unrivalled service for their property needs.
I am a professional Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and my membership number is 1122794.
